Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 23, 2026

Magnole ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Magnole platform at magnole.com and related services, including Maggie, our AI transaction coordinator for real estate professionals. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our services.

1. Information We Collect

Account information

When you sign up or sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information from Google, such as your name, email address, and profile picture, as permitted by your Google account settings and the scopes you authorize.

Google Calendar and Drive data

If you connect Google, we access calendar event data solely to create, update, and manage transaction-related milestones on your behalf, and we use Google Drive solely to create and file deal documents you direct us to store. We request the calendar.events and drive.file scopes needed for this functionality. We do not read or modify unrelated calendar events or Drive files beyond what is required to sync your Magnole deal milestones and file deal documents.

Transaction and communication data

We process information you provide through the platform and via email to Maggie, including deal details, contacts, documents, and correspondence related to your real estate transactions. Maggie may use AI to interpret that content and help coordinate your deals as described below.

Usage and technical data

We automatically collect certain technical information, such as IP address, browser type, device information, and usage logs, to operate, secure, and improve our services.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Magnole platform and Maggie services
  • Authenticate your account and manage your subscription
  • Sync transaction milestones with your Google Calendar when you opt in
  • Process documents, coordinate deal workflows, and respond to your requests
  • Power Maggie's AI-assisted features on content you provide (emails, documents, and deal details)—not to train foundational AI models
  • Send service-related communications and support responses
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. Google API Services

Magnole's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The use of raw or derived user data received from Workspace APIs will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to provide and improve user-facing features you have requested. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not sell Google user data to third parties.

We do not use Google Workspace user data—raw, aggregated, anonymized, or derived—to create, train, or improve artificial intelligence or machine learning models (including foundational or generalized models). We do not transfer Google Workspace user data to third-party AI providers for model training or to improve their models.

You may disconnect Google Calendar and Drive at any time from your Magnole account settings. Upon disconnection, we stop accessing your Google Calendar and Drive data and delete associated OAuth tokens from our systems.

4. Artificial Intelligence

Maggie uses third-party AI services (currently OpenAI's API) to power user-facing features such as interpreting emails and documents you send, drafting communications, extracting contract details, and assisting with transaction coordination. We send only the content needed to perform those features—typically information you provide through Magnole or email to Maggie (for example, deal emails and transaction documents). We do not send Google Calendar or Google Drive user data obtained through Workspace APIs to OpenAI or any other AI provider for training.

We configure our AI providers so that API inputs and outputs are not used to train or improve their foundational models. We do not use self-hosted or offline AI models. We do not use Google user data, or data derived from Google user data, to train or improve AI/ML models.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers who help us operate the platform (e.g., hosting, authentication, email delivery, payment processing, and AI processing via OpenAI for user-facing Maggie features), subject to confidentiality obligations and contractual restrictions on using data for model training
  • Legal and safety purposes when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security
  • Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice where required by law

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

7. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information. You can update account details in your dashboard or contact us to exercise your rights.

9. Children's Privacy

Magnole is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated through the platform or by email.
